School Uniforms

All students are expected to wear the approved uniform, which is as follows:

Boys (Middle School - Grades 5-8)

  • Pants- Navy blue, black, or khaki slacks or shorts
  • Shirts- Long sleeve white dress shirts and ties are recommended for all boys in grades 5-8.  White, navy blue, royal blue, light blue shirts with collars, polo shirts, or turtlenecks (no logos or symbols) or school T-shirts on approved days only. 

Boys (Elementary School - Grades PreK-4)

  • Pants- Navy blue, black, or khaki slacks or shorts
  • Shirts- White, navy blue, royal blue, light blue shirts with collars, polo shirts, or turtlenecks (no logos or symbols) or school T-shirts on approved days only.

Girls

  • Pants- Navy blue, black, or khaki jumpers, skirts, slacks, skorts or shorts.  Females may not wear skirts shorter than 2 inches above the knee.  No jogging pants or jeans allowed.
  • Shirts-  White, navy blue, royal blue, light blue shirts with collars, polo shirts, or turtlenecks (no logos or symbols) or school T-shirts on approved days only.

Shoes: Boys and girls must wear black, brown, or white closed toe leather shoes, or gym shoes.  High heeled shoes and open toe sandals are not permitted, unless you are participating in a special event at school.  Socks may be matched to the color of shoe: black, brown, or white (no colorful socks).

Belts: Must be worn on all pants, skirts, skorts, or shorts that have belt loops.

Jewelry: Students may not wear anything around their necks except school issued ID or religious item tucked inside of shirt.  Students may wear simple stud earrings that do not hang from the ear, or small hoop earrings.  Students may wear one watch or one bracelet that's not considered a fashion trend.

Hair: Students must keep hair neat and clean and out of their eyes.  Students may not wear unnatural colors or style, shavings that show gang letters, numbers or designs. Neatly braided, beaded, and rolled hair is permitted.

Jackets and coats: No student will be allowed to wear a coat or jacket inside the classroom.  Navy blue, white, or black sweaters (with or without hood) are permitted (no hoodies).

Students will be asked to wear special clothing for unique outdoor activities as well as for special curricular and co-curricular activities.

Students are expected to follow the guidelines of decency and proper respect for others.  Student attire must be appropriate for the time of year and the activities in which the student will be participating.  General rules of decorum include no midriffs showing, no hats in the building, no short shorts, no undergarments showing, no profanity or obscenities on clothing, and no see through clothing.  Hats are not to be worn in the building, except when appropriate for religious reasons or school spirit day.

Clothing is to be a proper fit for the child and must be properly worn, i.e. regular floor length pants, work at waist level, and not excessively baggy.  Clothing is to be clean and in good repair.  Buttons, studs, headscarves, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, patches, pins, or accessories that are considered offensive and disruptive (sexually suggestive, profane,obscene, tobacco or alcohol advertisements, etc) are not permitted.

Students are required to be neat and well groomed for school.
